My boyfriend still thinks his ex is pretty!

Dear Advice Girl,

I started dating my boyfriend only a week after he split with his ex of two years.

I've asked him straight out who's prettier, and he always says, "You're both pretty in different ways." I want him to see me as the most beautiful, and I want him to forget her. Is that selfish?

Dear Megan-Marie,

It's not selfish to want to be the most important girl in your boyfriend's life (you know, besides his mom and little sis). But pestering him about it - and forcing him to compare you to his ex - makes you seem insecure, distrustful and kinda like a nag.

Of course your guy thinks his ex is pretty. Shoot, he might even think she's cool and fun, too. (Why else would he date her?)

But forget about their relationship - what about yours? Does makes you happy, stay faithful and treat you like a good boyfriend should? Then relax and forget about the past already.
