My boyfriend forgot our anniversary!

My boyfriend didn't know that today is our 2-week anniversary! What should I do?

Dear Janee,

Girls are usually more into the whole anniversary thing than guys are. (Why? I dunno. Biology, maybe?) It doesn't mean that guys aren't sweet and loving. It's just that they don’t focus on milestones in the same way.

Still, a 2-week anniversary shouldn’t be celebrated by anyone, ever. Stick with the basics: one-month, one-year, and every year after that.

But in all cases, don’t assume that your bf is marking up the calendar on his own. Remind him about it or you’ll be disappointed.

The two of you also need to decide what day to start counting from. Is it the day you became official bf and gf? Your first date? Your first kiss? It’s up to you.

Whatever you do, don’t pick all of them. There aren’t enough Hallmark cards in the world to support that sorta thing.
